[SWA-33] 1/76 Type 1 Gun Tank Ho-Ni (Set of 2)

This double-kit set brings the Imperial Japanese Army's first dedicated tank destroyer to your workbench in 1/76 scale. Based on the proven Type 97 Chi-Ha chassis, the Type 1 Ho-Ni I features a powerful 75mm Type 90 field gun mounted in an open-topped casemate. This release from the Special World Armor series provides two complete kits in one box, allowing you to build a section of these unique self-propelled guns for your WWII Pacific Theater collection.

Fujimi has updated this classic kit with several modern refinements to improve the building experience. The molding color has been updated to a neutral gray for better visibility during assembly and painting, replacing the older brown plastic. The set also features a completely refreshed decal sheet that includes historically accurate markings and unit insignias previously unavailable in earlier releases.

Detailing across the hull remains sharp, with in-vehicle tools, jacks, headlamps, and tow cables all reproduced to capture the rugged look of Japanese armor. The main 75mm gun is designed with vertical movement, allowing you to pose the barrel at different elevations. To bring your finished models to life, the set includes two crew figures: one in a formal salute and another observing through binoculars.
