at AniToy
Preorders let you secure upcoming releases before they sell out. Pay a small deposit now, pay the rest when it arrives. Your spot is held no matter how long it takes.
Process
From preorder to your hands
Find a preorder
Browse upcoming releases and click "Preorder" on any item marked as available for preorder. Items show their expected arrival window.
Pay your deposit
At checkout you pay a deposit to secure the item. Your deposit rate depends on your membership tier - Gold and Platinum members pay 20%, everyone else pays 30%. Or pay the full price upfront to earn double AniCoins.
We track your order
We monitor the production and shipping timeline. If anything changes - delays, allocation issues, or cancellations from the supplier - we will contact you directly.
Item arrives - pay balance
When your item arrives at our warehouse, you receive an email to pay the remaining balance and choose shipping or in-store pickup.
Order complete
Once you pay the balance and receive the item, the preorder is complete. AniCoins from all payments are already in your account.

Deposit rates by tier
The deposit is the amount you pay upfront to secure a preorder. Your tier determines your rate. Higher tiers lock in less money while you wait.

Checkout window = days to pay your balance after your item arrives at our warehouse. We will email you when it is ready. If you need more time, contact us - we will do our best to accommodate.
Pay in full - earn double AniCoins
You can choose to pay the full price at preorder time instead of a deposit. When you do, you earn 2x AniCoins on the full amount.
Example: a Silver member preordering a $200 item and paying in full earns 400 AniCoins instead of 80 (the deposit-only amount on a $60 deposit).

Cancellation & refund policy
Customer-initiated cancellation
Preorder deposits are non-refundable if you choose to cancel. This is disclosed at checkout and is standard for anime collectible preorders. We use deposits to commit to suppliers on your behalf - once placed, that commitment is real.
If you are unsure about a product, wait for in-stock availability instead.
A note on timing: We do our best to meet estimated arrival dates, but anime figures and model kits travel through manufacturers, overseas distributors, and international freight - delays are a normal part of the industry. We reserve the right to fulfill a preorder up to 3 months beyond the original estimated arrival date before it is considered unfillable. If that threshold is reached, our standard unfillable policy applies and you receive a full refund plus AniCoin bonus.
If AniToy cannot fill your order
If we cannot fulfill your preorder - supplier cancellation, allocation issues, or any other reason on our side - you receive 100% of your deposit back, plus a bonus AniCoin grant as an apology.

Earned coins are already in your account from when you paid. The bonus is an additional AniCoin grant at cancellation - 5 coins per dollar deposited. Higher tiers and full payment earn more coins back, up to 115%.

Frequently asked
How long do I have to pay my balance after my preorder arrives?
It depends on your tier. Member: 7 days. Silver: 14 days. Gold: 21 days. Platinum: 28 days. The clock starts when we email you that your item is ready. If you need a little more time, reach out - we will do our best to work with you.
Do I have to pay shipping on my preorder?
Shipping is paid when you settle the balance, not at preorder time. When your item arrives, you can add in-stock products to the same checkout to combine them - which can help you hit the free shipping threshold. You have your full checkout window to do this.
Can I cancel my preorder?
Preorder deposits are non-refundable on customer-initiated cancellations. This is standard practice for anime collectibles and helps us commit to suppliers so the item stays available. If you are unsure about an item, we recommend waiting for in-stock availability instead of preordering.
What if the item is delayed?
Anime figure and model kit production delays are common - manufacturers, overseas distributors, and international freight all add variability. We reserve the right to fulfill a preorder up to 3 months beyond the original estimated arrival date. If we cannot deliver within that window, our unfillable policy applies and you receive a full refund plus AniCoin bonus. Your deposit holds your spot throughout any delay.
Can I change my shipping address after preordering?
Yes - you can update your address any time before the balance payment is due. Contact us and we will update the order.
What if I move or change my mind about pickup vs. shipping?
You can switch between shipping and pickup when you pay the balance. Just select your preference at the time of the balance payment.
Do I earn AniCoins on my preorder deposit?
Yes - AniCoins are added to your balance immediately when you pay the deposit. You also earn more when you pay the balance. If you choose to pay in full at preorder time, you earn double AniCoins on the whole amount.
How long does a typical preorder take?
Most anime figures take 3-12 months from preorder opening to arrival. Model kits can be similar. The product page shows the expected arrival window. We update you if anything changes.
