Description
The MG RX-178 Gundam Mk-II A.E.U.G (Ver. 2.0) is a 1/100 scale Master Grade plastic model kit from BANDAI HOBBY, based on the iconic mobile suit from the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam series. This updated "Version 2.0" kit significantly improves upon its predecessor, incorporating advanced styling and engineering inspired by the larger Perfect Grade Gundam Mk-II. It requires assembly but no glue, though a hobby nipper is needed to remove parts from the runners.
Key features of this model kit include its exceptional poseability, articulation, and sturdiness. It utilizes an updated movable frame concept, which integrates vital mechanisms like actuators and control systems, enhancing responsiveness and agility. The kit boasts newly designed joints that allow for incredibly realistic posing, especially in the legs, with a tighter bend at the knee and a foot joint that divides the heel and toe for better balance in action poses. Armor separation is improved, and the cockpit can be opened to reveal a pilot figurine. The manipulators feature articulated fingers, and the shield has an expansion and contraction mechanism, allowing it to convert into a storage mode. The rifle and bazooka magazines are also removable.
