For brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are recommended, while airbrushing typically requires 2 to 3 coats after diluting the paint with Mr. Thinner at a ratio of 1 part Mr. Color to 1-2 parts thinner. You can also adjust the gloss level by mixing in Mr. Flat Base: approximately 5-10% for a semi-gloss finish or 10-20% for a matte finish.
