The PLANNOSAURUS Iguanodon is a plastic model kit from the BANDAI HOBBY "Plannosaurus" series, designed to offer an educational and engaging building experience. This kit allows enthusiasts to learn about dinosaur anatomy by constructing the Iguanodon from its internal skeleton outwards. The model is based on a complete Iguanodon skeleton discovered in the 1870s, recreating it in a kangaroo-like posture with its tail dragging.
A key feature of the Plannosaurus series is its two-stage building process: first, the "skeletal build" involves assembling the dinosaur's bone structure, followed by the "dinosaur build" where the outer skin parts are attached to the skeleton.
