The Perfect Grade Evangelion-01 features an intricate internal posable skeleton constructed from heavy-duty, semi-hard plastic. This inner frame is meticulously covered by soft, black rubber parts, which conceal the joints and abdomen, providing a realistic, biological appearance and enhancing durability and poseability beyond that of High Grade or Master Grade kits. Outer plastic armor panels then complete the distinctive look of the EVA.
Designed for dynamic display, the shoulder panels open to reveal internal weapon storage. The kit also incorporates a lighting system, with LED lights housed in the shoulders to illuminate the EVA logos, and additional wiring options for lighting up the eyes, requiring a plug-in power pack (2 AAA batteries sold separately) connected via the Umbilical Cable.
