For optimal results, Mr. Color 73 should be thinned with Mr. Color Thinner (standard, Leveling, or Rapid) for airbrushing, typically at a ratio of 1 part paint to 1-2 parts thinner, depending on desired viscosity. When brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are recommended, while airbrushing typically benefits from 2 to 3 coats. The gloss level can also be adjusted to a semi-gloss or flat finish by mixing in Mr. Color C-30 Flat Base.
