For optimal results, Mr. Thinner is required for thinning the paint and cleaning your brushes or airbrush. When brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are recommended, while airbrushing typically requires 2 to 3 coats. For airbrush application, thin Mr. Color paint to a ratio of 1 part paint to 1-2 parts Mr. Thinner, adjusting for desired viscosity. Gloss levels can be further customized by mixing in Mr. Color C-30 Flat Base; approximately 5-10% will convert gloss colors to a semi-gloss finish, and 10-20% for a matt finish. Please note that Mr. Color cannot be mixed with Aqueous Hobby Color or Acrysion paints, though these can be applied over a dried coat of Mr. Color.
