For best results, Mr. Color paint requires thinning with Mr. Color Thinner or Mr. Leveling Thinner for both application and cleaning of brushes and airbrushes. When brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are recommended, with a paint to thinner ratio of approximately 1:1 if needed. For airbrushing, 2 to 3 thin coats are suggested, with a thinning ratio of 1 part paint to 1-2 parts thinner, depending on desired viscosity. Adding a few drops of Mr. Retarder Mild can help reduce drying speed and brush stippling for smoother brushwork.
