Mr. Color 130 Dark Green (Semi-Gloss/Aircraft) is a premium lacquer-based paint from GSI Creos Mr. Hobby, renowned by modelers worldwide for its exceptional finish. This specific shade, C-130 Dark Green, is often associated with Kawasaki - IJA Aircraft from WWII, making it an ideal choice for historical aircraft models and a versatile color for various other projects.
Achieve a smooth and hard finish that surpasses many other hobby paints, offering a broad spectrum of colors and finishes. Its semi-gloss sheen provides a realistic look for military aircraft and other scale models.
Application is flexible, allowing for both brush painting and airbrushing. For brush painting, 1 to 2 coats are recommended. When airbrushing, 2 to 3 coats are suggested after diluting the paint with Mr. Thinner at a ratio of 1 part paint to 1-2 parts thinner. The final gloss level can be further customized by mixing in Mr. Flat Base; approximately 5-10% for a semi-gloss finish or 10-20% for a matte finish.
