This Master Grade kit is based on the highly detailed MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 3.0 frame, incorporating new molding to accurately reproduce the characteristic shapes of Casval's unit. It features a striking red color scheme, utilizing multiple tones of red molding colors for its armor parts, along with brown accents. Key design differences from the standard RX-78-2 Gundam include a waist center part without the traditional V design and a shield that lacks the Earth Federation mark. The ankle guards also feature a distinct coloring.
