MG GP-01 Gundam

The MG GP-01 Gundam is a 1/100 scale Master Grade injection-plastic model kit from BANDAI HOBBY, based on the RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes" as seen in the Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory OVA. This highly detailed kit allows enthusiasts to build a fully posable replica of the iconic mobile suit.

Key features of this model include a transforming Core Fighter that can dock with the Gundam body and also be displayed as a standalone jet fighter-type vehicle, complete with landing gears. The kit boasts inner mechanical details and opening hatches, a hallmark of the Master Grade series. The proportions of the GP01 are interpreted by Hajime Katoki. While molded in color for snap-together assembly, using glue and paint is recommended for achieving a truly professional finish. Articulation is provided in the head, arms, double-jointed elbows, and manipulators, which feature poseable fingers. The waist has limited rotation due to the docking gimmick, while the upper thighs, knees, and ankles also offer movement. This kit was one of the first Master Grades to feature a full inner frame in its legs.
