OVA「マクロスプラス」の主役機、YF-19をキット化。前進翼の持つ独特な機体フォルムをハセガワならではの航空機表現を盛り込みつつ立体化いたしました。 パーツ構成は、比較的簡単な内容となっており、各パーツはブロックごとに組み立ててから、塗装後に組み付けられる設計です。コクピットは単座/複座の選択 式。キャノピーは開閉選択式、着座状態のパイロットフィギュア付き、ベクターノズルは可動式です。機体下面は河森氏による追加設定書に基づく設計となって おります！パッケージイラストは天神英貴 氏が担当。
