The HG 1/100 YF-21 model kit brings to life the iconic variable fighter from the beloved Macross Plus anime series, piloted by Guld Goa Bowman. This highly detailed kit is the fourth installment in the HG Macross plastic model series, capturing the YF-21's distinctive navy blue aesthetic and unique design.

Experience the thrill of its advanced capabilities with a "Shortcut Change" mechanism, utilizing replacement parts for a simplified yet accurate three-stage transformation. Seamlessly switch between its Fighter, Gerwalk, and Battroid modes, each form boasting ease of assembly, a wide range of motion, and sophisticated proportions adapted directly from the anime. Beyond these, the kit also faithfully reproduces the YF-21's characteristic "Limiter Release" mode, known for the legendary five-second missile evasion scene.

The model features a canopy made with polarized molding that can be opened and closed, revealing a mini pilot figure of Guld Goa Bowman inside. Articulation is a highlight, with a movable shaft and ball joint at the neck for expressive head posing, and shoulders designed with movable duct parts and joints to ensure a wide range of motion.
