1/72 VF-19EF/A BATTROID ISAMU SPECIAL “MACROSS FRONTIER”

Bring the legendary Isamu Dyson’s custom unit from Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell to your collection with this highly detailed 1/72 scale model kit. This release captures the VF-19EF/A in its powerful Battroid form, featuring a design supervised by Shoji Kawamori himself.

This kit introduces several new plastic parts to accurately recreate the Isamu Special configuration. These include the deployed main wings, shoulder-mounted missile pods, and specialized attachments for the wing super parts. The main wing super parts themselves are adapted from the VF-25 fighter form components to provide a robust, armored appearance.

The model is engineered for a high level of poseability using polycaps for the joints, allowing for dynamic action stances. Most of the main body assembly is snap-fit and does not require glue, though adhesive is necessary for the wing super parts. Molded in seven different colors, the kit achieves a look very close to the original aircraft’s color scheme even without paint, especially when combined with the included water-slide decals.
