ARTFX Artist Series Darth Vader The Ultimate Evil

This collaboration between Kotobukiya and world-renowned illustrator Hiromoto Sin-ichi brings a visceral, stylized interpretation of the Dark Lord of the Sith to the Artist Series. Based on Darth Vader as he appeared in Star Wars: A New Hope, this piece captures the character through the unique lens of the Star Wars comic artist, emphasizing a sense of raw power and cinematic menace.

The sculpt depicts a victorious Vader standing triumphantly upon the interior floor of the Death Star. At his feet lie the crumpled, empty robes and the lightsaber of his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, capturing the immediate aftermath of their fateful duel. Every detail of the Sith Lord's silhouette has been adjusted to fit the artist's signature style, featuring a bulkier frame and subtle modifications to the iconic armor plating.

One of the most striking features of this design is the treatment of the helmet lenses. Reimagined with a piercing red glow, the eyes are crafted to convey the internal rage of the character, adding a layer of intensity that sets this version apart from traditional screen-accurate replicas. The paintwork utilizes high-contrast finishes to highlight the textures of the leather-like bodysuit and the mechanical components of the chest plate and belt.
