[KG-10] 1/700 TONE FULL HUL Model

Recreate one of the most unique heavy cruisers of the Imperial Japanese Navy with this detailed 1/700 scale kit of the Tone. Known for its distinctive layout where all four main gun turrets were mounted forward of the bridge, the Tone was designed to operate a large complement of seaplanes from its clear aft deck. This specific release captures the vessel in its late-war configuration as it appeared during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944, featuring significantly reinforced anti-aircraft armament.

This full hull model allows for a complete representation of the ship from the masts down to the keel. The lower hull is provided as a separate, integrally molded piece, while the propellers and rudder are individual parts to ensure a high level of detail. The kit includes precision-molded Type 96 25mm machine guns, utilizing a two-piece structure that separates the barrels from the mounts to make painting and assembly more accurate for hobbyists.
