This model allows for dynamic display options, featuring covers that can be posed open or closed, and the engine exhaust can be set at two different angles to depict either cruise or vertical landing configurations. The kit boasts fine, shallow recessed exterior detailing, including panel lines and rivets/fasteners, providing an authentic look. An excellent rendition of the engine and lift fan for the STOVL version is included, with two engine options provided to represent different nozzle positions.

Included in the box are almost 70 injection-molded parts across eight sprues, molded in grey, metallic dark grey, white, and clear plastic. You will also find a comprehensive decal sheet for markings and a choice of two canopies, clear and tinted. The cockpit features relief detail on the consoles' sills and a separate side-stick, with the main instrument panel relying on a decal for detail.
