1/72 CMV-22B OSPREY "VRM-30 2024"

Hasegawa presents the 1/72 CMV-22B OSPREY "VRM-30 2024", a highly detailed model kit capturing the distinctive aircraft of the U.S. Navy's Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron 30, known as the "Titans". This reproduction highlights the VRM-30 machine featuring the iconic Mount Fuji (or Diamond Fuji) motif on its tail, as seen during its 2024 deployment.

This kit accurately portrays the CMV-22B Osprey, the advanced tiltrotor aircraft that has revolutionized carrier onboard delivery (COD) missions for the U.S. Navy. Replacing the venerable C-2A Greyhound, the CMV-22B offers enhanced range, speed, and cargo capacity, crucially capable of transporting F-35C Lightning II power modules internally. VRM-30, the Navy's first CMV-22B squadron, commenced its primary forward deployment to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, in July 2024, significantly bolstering logistics capabilities in the Western Pacific.

Included in this kit are specialized parts to ensure an authentic build. The bulges for the sponsons on the left and right sides of the fuselage are provided as resin parts, adding precise detail. For intricate elements, the towel bar-shaped antenna is rendered with photo-etched parts. A display stand is also included, allowing you to showcase your completed model in an in-flight configuration. Decals are supplied for multiple aircraft from the 30th Fleet Support Multi-Mission Squadron, including aircraft "73/9460", "71/9456", and "72/9459" (Iwakuni Base, 2024).
