Formulated to minimize organic solvents, Acrysion N81 boasts an ultra-low odor, creating a more pleasant and safer painting environment. Despite being water-based, it dries quickly, ensuring high workability for modelers. Once dry, this paint forms a durable, water-resistant, and solvent-resistant coating. Its low solvent content also makes it less likely to corrode thinly molded ABS parts, which are often susceptible to damage from stronger solvents.

Acrysion paints adhere to surfaces through their own strong adhesive properties, rather than dissolving and biting into plastic resins like some solvent-based alternatives. This allows for application on solvent-resistant materials such as urethane resin without the need for a primer, and it can also be used on polycarbonate, with improved adhesion when a primer is applied. For brush application, the paint can be used directly from the bottle, or diluted with 1-2 drops of water or Acrysion Retarder if a thinner consistency is desired. When airbrushing, it is recommended to use Acrysion Airbrush Thinner Modified at a dilution ratio of approximately 1:0.3.
